Two new bracelets - both holding their own in my heart... what do you think of the new silver caps? Obviously, my love affair with the R4 glass continues - I don't think I'll ever tire of it. : )
Hi Christine, thank you for so quickly responding. I think I just posted these here - which do you like better, and why? They do wear so beautifully - easily drape around your wrist. : ) Jill
I think I like the first one the best - that was the one I was referring to in my earlier comment, even though I realize now I forgot to make that clear! They're both pretty darn outstanding, though. Did you make all the silver components in both bracelets? :) Christine
I like the beads in #1 but the bead caps in #2 and you already know that R4 works for me! They are very, very pretty. Did you make these as other family watched TV? Bracelets are better anyway. How big to they measure? I have some bead caps you might be interested in that are already shaped for the lentils but they are pewter. Want some?
I had to type 'nonolute' that formed the letters in the secret word to get in to leave a comment. That absolutely sounds like a word to me and if it wasn't it is now. You can pronounce it with a short o as non-o-lute, maybe meaning something to do with grandmother in Italian? Or no-no-lute which is self explanatory! LOL!
Christine - the caps are the only components that are not made by me. But the eventual goal is to be able to supply all that goes into my pieces. *I had to substitute 'pieces' for 'work'... and I crumble when I refer to this as 'work'* : )
I love these bracelets. And I can't decide which I like better. Maybe it's the R4 :) but I doubt it. I love the hammered rings, I love the bead caps. And...I love the beads. Beautiful. Stunning. Crisp and perfect.
A little background would be helpful - now, wouldn't it?
I have a great passion for lampworking - and have spent the past 10 years exploring. Easily, I could spend the rest of my life and still be amazed at the vastness of 'possibilities'.
This venue allows me the freedom to showcase what I view as some of my very best pieces, discoveries and to delight in what I manage to capture in photos. Since there are no items for sale here - know that many of these items are long gone - but, I'll always have these photos! Do leave a comment if you so choose, as it does a heart good to know someone is enjoying right along with me.

Like I've said before - is there really any wonder why we're friends?
Nonolute... why not?
