I've never been able to pass up the opportunity to search for/buy findings! You'll forever find me in the stores unscrewing things - trying to see if whatever they've threaded on to the item can come OFF - only to be replaced by my work. As a result of this, I've got a good variety of goodies ranging from ice cream scoops, cake knives, cake servers, bottle openers, spreaders, bookmarks and such. Now, to figure out a way to make focal size beads more lucrative threaded onto a handle - than dangling beautifully as a pendant. sigh...

It's hard you know when the Chinese are out there selling stuff so cheap. But..... I have one of these.

Grrrrrrreat blog Jill! Now I can link back to your individual posts. It's good to see you on blogger. And I always love seeing your beads!

I know what you mean about the lampwork that's from China/India etc. I was looking at a rather pretty necklace in a place like World Market or Pier One... and noticed that there was a space - a lone piece of wire with loops at both ends - but the bead had cracked off. You get what you pay for, eh?

Thanks Lori! I've enjoyed this format because I can prattle on about beads that have been sold already... and it's sort of a great place to 'keep' the best of the best. Come visit often, I love the company.
